Devices
See which devices are connected through the GSA client and their activity.
What is shown here?
The Devices page lists all devices that have connected to your organisation through the GSA client. For each device you can see:
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Device name | Machine hostname |
| External IP | The public IP address the device connected from |
| Status | Active or inactive |
| Client version | GSA client version installed on the device |
| Last seen | Timestamp of the most recent connection |
Device detail view
Click a device to open its detail view, which shows:
- Full device information
- Traffic logs for this device — recent connection attempts made through the GSA client from this specific device
Use the traffic log here to investigate whether a particular device has been reaching (or being blocked from) a specific resource.
Using device information for troubleshooting
If a user reports connectivity issues from a specific machine, the Devices page can help you:
- Confirm the device is connecting — search for the device name. If it doesn’t appear or shows as inactive, the GSA client may not be running on that machine.
- Check the client version — an outdated client version may cause connectivity issues. Report this to your Cetegra administrator.
- Review device traffic logs — open the device detail view to see recent connection attempts and whether they were allowed or blocked.
For deeper investigation of blocked traffic across all devices, use Logs → Traffic.
