Introduction

The Cetegra Cloud Cost Tracker gives full control over all costs in your Azure or Oracle cloud services. Budgets can be defined based on what needs to be monitored.

To summarize, Cloud Cost Tracker gives you:

  • Monitor cost per subscription
  • Define cost threshold budgets
  • Get a notification when a threshold has been breached
  • Breached budgets will be visible on the dashboard
  • Drill down in historical cost data
  • Drill down in Microsoft Azure resource types or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) folders

Access

Access Cloud Cost Tracker by clicking the menu item Cloud Cost Tracker below FinOps in the left menu in Cetegra Workspace.

The Cloud Cost Tracker is available for users with the Cloud Cost Tracker User or Cloud Cost Tracker Manager role.

Overview

The first page you will see is the Status page. This page gives you an overview of budgets that have breached the threshold.

Here, the budget name is visible, including the current/threshold cost and the percentage of the threshold that has been breached.

Click the Edit button to edit the budget. Read more about the Edit mode here.

Click the Graph button to see the cost history for the budget. Read more about the Graph mode here.
